The Society of Civil and Structural Engineers (SCSE) is the UC San Diego student chapter of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE), the Structural Engineers Association of San Diego (SEAOSD) and the American Public Works Association (APWA). Our purpose is to supplement the engineering education of UCSD students, promote the personal and professional development of our members, and improve the community of which we are part through outreach and community service. SCSE is open to all eligible members and does not discriminate against, or grant preferential treatment to, any individual or group on the basis of race, color, national origin, religion, sex, disability, and/or other protected categories.
